''Great Expectations'' is the title of the debut full-length album by British singer-songwriter Tasmin Archer. Released in late 1992 on Capitol, it contained her sole American chart hit, "Sleeping Satellite", which peaked in the lower rungs of the Top 40 at number 32. The album itself reached a peak of 115 in the States. The single and album fared better in other parts of the world, however, such as Australia (single reached number 14; album peaked at 56). Her success was more pronounced on her home turf, however. "Sleeping Satellite" went to number 1 both in the UK and Ireland, while sitting just outside the top 10 in Germany (number 12). Three more UK singles were released in the wake of her initial success: "In Your Care" (UK #16), "Lords of the New Church" (UK #26) and "Arienne" (UK #30). The success of those four singles pushed the album to Platinum Status in the UK for sales of over 300,000 copies. ==Track Listing== *All songs written by Tasmin Archer, John Beck & John Hughes〔(Images for Tasmin Archer )〕〔(Track listing as found at discogs )〕 #"Sleeping Satellite" 4:41 #"Arienne" 3:48 #"Lords of the New Church" 4:43 #"When It Comes Down to It" 4:10 #"Steeltown" 3:44 #"The Higher You Climb" 3:58 #"In Your Care" 4:22 #"Somebody's Daughter" 4:15 #"Hero" 4:39 #"Ripped Inside" 3:28 #"Halfway to Heaven" 4:18 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Great Expectations (Tasmin Archer album)」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
